May we all just take a moment to enjoy the whimsy and playfulness of this photo? It won’t be long before it is stolen, and appears on Tumblr with a ridiculous caption like “Ready for Daddy’s inspection,” or some other such bullshit. Hopefully they will scrub the watermark first.

Oh, love, don’t worry about that. There are a dozen or more sites that mine our photos, and they rarely use Tumblr to find them. We’d be happy to see this in your archive. 😉
What is the incentive to swipe other people’s stuff on tumblr? I suppose I can understand jerkoff photographers who want to take credit for someone else’s work, but still….
We never understood the rampant refusal to attribute proper credit on Tumblr, either. We know our photos are taken and uploaded to “warehousing” photo sites, and that a lot of bloggers find them and post them from those sites. That is the most common excuse, anyway. “I didn’t know the original source!” they say, while ignoring (or erasing) our watermark…
I am enjoying the moment very much, while cursing the trolls and trawlers and admiring your cool attitude 🙂
