From the moment Molly first announced her February photo prompt, Minimalist, we knew it would be a big challenge for us. Holden’s visual style is typically balanced and rich, often whimsical, and usually full of details from one corner of the frame to the other. Pretty much the opposite of minimalism. He gave the task a lot of thought, creating and discarding several ideas before settling on this one. We may revisit some of those concepts later, but we are both happy with the execution of tonight’s image. ~C
