After six-plus years of making photos, mostly in our own home, it’s such a unique pleasure to find a camera perspective that we have never used before. This spare bathroom was off-limits for a long time, while my youngest lived with us, so we have enjoyed the opportunity to use the new space. This shot was achieved by Holden standing on the near corner of the tub, his back flush against the wall. The high angle is both forgiving and provocative, and the color-smoothing filter gives it a retro feel. I like this one a lot! ~C
