We didn’t know about it ahead of time, but our visit to Lexington in August coincided with the annual gathering of anime fans known as KenTokyoCon. Our strategically placed hotel room window offered some interesting views of the attendees heading to the convention center, and we had occasion to share several elevator rides with assorted characters who were also booked at the Hilton. In fact, as Holden was lining me up for this shot, someone dressed as King Julien from Madagascar was posing for photos at the crosswalk below us. Holden was laser-focused on his own view, however. ~C
