Happy Saturday, everyone! Please join us in raising a glass to the weekend! (Even if we have to use tumblers* instead of proper wine glasses.) Longtime readers may recall what a difficult time Holden has at work, in the weeks leading up to Christmas, and this year has been no different. But he only has one more vicious week to go, before things calm down again. I know he’s ready to see a reduction in his stress level.
As I mentioned before, the galley kitchen was too narrow for Holden to shoot the exact photos he had imagined ahead of time. The top photo was taken through the window that you can see in the upper right corner of the bottom one, while he stood on the sofa from the pedicure post. For the bottom photo, he had to go out the door in the bottom photo here, to get the best framing for us. Good thing it wasn’t raining! ~C

Ooooo, I love to have gentlemen cook for me! (Holden does it just about every night.) And some of our favorite photos have been taken in kitchens — It breaks the cliche of one bedroom picture after another. 🙂 ~C
