Happy New Year, dear readers! Whatever your plans for this evening, we hope you are happy and well, and optimistic about the promise of fun adventures to come. If you’re going out, please be safe and take care — December 31st is notorious for bringing out the amateur revelers, and they are unpredictable at best. If you’re like us homebodies, you’ve found a comfy and warm place to ring in 2018, maybe even with a cozy fire in your fireplace like ours.
My favorite thing about this series of photos is how Holden approached “my turn” with the same technique as he did with Scarlett’s — An angled shot from above (standing on a dining chair, actually); then a perspective photo from across the coffee table; and finally a down-the-leg image taken from off the shoulder of the pedicure recipient. I actually prefer this grouping to the first one, because not only do the legs and feet lovers have plenty to enjoy, but Scarlett and I both offer up some delicious cleavage, as well! ~C
