How does one evaluate the “success” of a photo posted to Tumblr? By the number of people who appreciated it and understood the feelings you attempted to convey in it, either by likes, relbogs or comments? Unfortunately, there appears to be no other way.
If Notes are the measure of success, then we had no better month than April of 2012. We have trimmed our Archive to only our most favorite efforts, and yet the 12 that remain there have nearly 18,000 Notes between them. (Not counting the stolen versions, of course.)
We again appreciate the opportunity to rework an older photo from the pre-watermark days, and to fix some disastrous mistakes with the color shades in the original.
