Would the concept for these photos seem less pretentious if I told you I was humming “Volcano Girls” by Veruca Salt the whole time? 
Anyway, the flooring was really beautiful, the afternoon light was perfect, and Holden didn’t have a very difficult time climbing up onto the kitchen island to get the perspective he wanted, so there you go. ~C
The bottom one (ahem) is my favorite. Love the light, the shadows, the curves.
