We thought a slightly hazy filter would be perfect for this photo, which was shot in mid-January of 2015 but never published (a different photo was chosen, instead.) Not only does the filter add a bit of glow toΒ the late afternoon sunlight, but it is also a reflection of our physical states: Tangled in post-coital bliss, our minds and bodies still blurry and vibrating from the rush of pleasure. Should we nap? Do it again? Nap, and then do it again?

You guys look really beautiful.
Thanks very much!
I love the photos you take. They are quite beautiful with an artist flair.
Thank you kindly! Our posts have evolved a lot, over the years, thank goodness! π
love this and the feeling it evokes!
Much appreciated, Deb! Always happy to hear from you. π
The haze, the tangled limbs, the light… all come together for me in way that speaks of an intensely sensual eroticism.
Absolutely beautiful…
There’s something to be said for forgetting to turn off the camera and still having the remote nearby. π
the sweetest moment captured… Lovely. This picture tugs the heartstrings.
Thanks so much, Lana! It was a happy accident. π
An extremely sexy photo. Love it.
Thank you kindly! ~C
Perfect picture.
Nap, then go again, definitely
As I recall, that’s pretty much how it happened… π ~C
Very glad to hear that.
Really enjoying this blog, always a joy to visit
This is absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you, Paul! π
This photo sums up everything I have always loved about your blog and the way you two have grown and developed–a stunning picture, that is going in my “To-do-poem” file π x
How very kind of you! We were looking forward to re-visiting a few of the ones we took that afternoon. π Looking forward to the poem, as always! ~C
Beautiful. And that light is just so perfect for the mood of this shot. Soft and languid and thoroughly lovely. Jane xxx
Thanks very much, Jane! We’ll post a couple more from that same afternoon — The gorgeous sunset through our bedroom blinds did not go to waste! π
Really beautiful picture. Nap and do it again!! We find our quick naps bring more fervor to the after nap romp.
Yes, naps have that effect on us, as well!
Spectacular view.
Do it all over again after you catch your breath.
Excellent thought!
