An outtake from a photo session we conducted last Spring, on the night we expected to be celebrating our final fire of the season (we were right.) We have very cool weather in our forecast for the weekend, so we just might be lighting this year’s last one tomorrow night.
This is a bit of a tighter crop and more flattering edit than the previous shots, and my “dimples of Venus” are my favorite part of the picture. We disagree on the name for them, though: I call them butt dimples and Holden refers to them as thumb holes. Always with a filthy mind, that man… ~C
Bahaha thumb holes… I laughed out loud. I suppose hip bones would be the finger grips. I like it.
Exactly right! Thumbs in the thumb holes and long fingers stretched out around the narrowest part of my waist. 🙂 ~C
I would call them both cute.
The drink in your left hand looks like it is going to be placed on your right foot. ….
Yikes! That would be cold!
Love ‘thumb holes’… If he is behind you…
Yes, precisely! ~C
Great shot, great lighting, great fire, great pose, great legs, fabulous bum… kissable
So many happy details! 🙂
Such a delightful photo and yes so full of happy details, as Jack has elucidated 🙂 I hope you enjoy your fire! And thank you for your kind words on the poem x
Got home later than expected this evening, so we didn’t light it. But the fun was certainly worth it!
I hadn’t heard the term dimples of Venus. I have heard them called sacral dimples. Your dimples are cute, either way.
I knew they had a grandiose name, but I’d forgotten it. So, add “butt dimples” to my list of embarrassing Google searches! ~C
This picture is gorgeous. Wow.
Thanks! It is much improved over the original post, with a far better edit! ~C
