Two Pair, Part 2

Happy Friday, y’all!

Since it’s so far from the light pollution of populous areas, nights at the lake house seem intensely dark, and dusk appears to linger for hours. Holden experimented with light in many of the photos he took during our sessions last summer, and some produced remarkable results. These two were taken late in the evening on the back porch, using two lamps from inside to create the silhouette. I love the soft glow it gives to my skin and how it washes away so much of the color. (The shots we chose for last year’s post were converted to black and white.) ~C

These are lovely photos 🙂 I would separate the two lamps more, having one from each side of the backlight with a soft foreground, but that’s nit-picking with such a lovely result 🙂 x

Agreed re: the lamps, though we try to keep our lake house activities a secret, so we move as little around as possible. Keeps us from forgetting what to put back as it was! 😉
