Holden the Archivist

0713

Given the compact cluster of family activities and special occasions during the summer months, combined with the fact that I have been away from home for nearly two weeks, it’s probably not a surprise that we currently find ourselves short of brand-new images to post. Fortunately, Holden has occupied a good deal of his lonesome time at home by mining a few of 2015’s albums for unpublished photos.

In an interesting coincidence, the next four archive albums that were due to be re-examined are collections that were shot somewhere other than our home: two hotels, a rented loft, and the photo studio. These albums are heavily weighted with solo shots of me, for which I apologize in advance, but he was able to find some delightful pictures of us together, as well. (Sinful Sunday fans will be happy to read that.)

We are going to present these shots in a scrambled order to try to keep things fresh. And we feel a black-and-white period coming on. Above, emerging from a much-needed shower after a lengthy kayak trip on the Tennessee River (August, 2015.)

Thank you! Not sure why we didn’t post this one before, but better late than never! ~C

In my early work days I used to beaver away in archives, hoping to find something so beautiful and sexy, but never did–damn I should have applied for the job of your archivist! 😉 x

Holden says it’s a tedious job, at times, but the scenery is fantastic! 😉 ~C
