As many of you know, our dashboard for this site tracks referrers — click-throughs from other sites that bring visitors here. Since many of the old photos we posted to Tumblr still carry our source link, it’s not unusual for us to see reblogs of some of our more popular photos on the list of references. This evening’s photo is an alternate take from the same shoot that produced this one, in May of 2014. The original never amounted to much, back then, so we were surprised to see recent Tumblr activity pushing it up over 3,000 notes, as of a few days ago. This version has a much better crop, of course, though we did try to stick with something similar to the original’s black and white treatment. ~C
