Ours (7 of 10)

After Holden and I had independently made our top ten selections, we were a bit surprised to find only one of our holiday photos among the twenty. My choice, above, is from Joy, by Holden (December 22, 2014) and will be familiar to those of you who enjoyed our pictures from last Christmas. I posted a re-edit of the original for 2016, because it just makes me happy every time I see that photo! Holden returns to the Virginia cabin archive for his selection, from When Will I Be Loved? (January 27, 2014). We shared a color edit of this image with a wider crop in 2015, which I really liked, but he is far more fond of the original. Before paring his list down to ten, he had two more Virginia pictures among his favorites. It was hard for him to include only two for this countdown. ~C

So kind of you, Cris! I can’t even begin to explain how much I love that photo of him, and I’m so glad to know that others feel the same way! ~C

I’m squealing with delight! I remember Joy when it was originally posted. Brilliant.

Sexy as hell Camille. Yes I think I may even go out and buy some thigh high socks now, I really love them on you.

I love that they are both black and white, it is perfect for them.

You definitely have the legs for the thigh-highs, Aiden, and we would both love to see you in them! 😉 What a delicious thought! Holden was beaming from your words on his post — He loves that one as much as we do! ~C

I remember both posts with pleasure, and they are amongst my favourites of your both. I’ve wanted to find words for your image, Camille, but so far have failed 🙁 x

To bring a wordsmith to a lack of words is truly high praise! Knowing that the photo was appreciated is more than enough. 😉 ~C
