This is the photo, or at least the edit, that we probably should have used for the February prompt of “Minimalist” at Sinful Sunday (our contribution can be found at #24 on that page, if you haven’t seen it. There were some wonderful interpretations.)
Hope y’all are having a fun weekend! We had planned to shoot for a while, either today or tomorrow, but instead we are hosting an unexpected but most welcome houseguest! We’re sure you won’t mind if we check our archive for some unpublished outtakes, until we are able to put something together for next weekend. ~C
I like that! Those edits are fun to do, and this would have been perfect for Minimalist Sunday. Don’t you worry, if I need an H&C fix, I know where the published archives are… I usually take a look around whenever here.
Thanks, Elliott! We will definitely continue to post daily — Our files are full of unpublished wonders! Or at least that’s what we think… 😉
I love the minimal quality of this one. Just enough to tease and leave the mind to wander. Excellent job.

Thanks very much! The raw photo has such a dreary orange tint to it, so we had to do something with it! 😉
No I REALLY don’t mind! 😍
Me neither 😍
Wonderful! Hope you will stop back in, too, Tabitha! ~C
Thank you, love! We hope you’ll stop back in and take a look. 😉 ~C
Oh but I liked your original “Minimalist” post, and have it in my poem queue, though this is also lovely, and I hope you houseguest had a good time 😉 x
We all had a big time — Holden’s son is away at college, so we don’t see him as often as we used to. Such a thoughtful and sensitive kid. ~C
Wow, what a cool image. Love the edit or however you did this.
Thank you very much! It’s a filter from our old filter suite called (appropriately) “Sketch.” 🙂
