Baby Steps

Another shot that was inspired by a professional photo from Amanda’s amazing archive, right down to the minimal ensemble of heels and white panties. We made a mess out of the lighting, though, because our new soft box is a bit too much for this little den. Our attempts to adjust the look of it led to the employment of an old favorite filter, so we are still happy the mood. Will most likely be coming back to this idea later, under different circumstances. ~C

Oh, and in case you didn’t notice the new addition over there in the right sidebar, we are proud to announce that were were recently selected as one of the Top 110 Blogs for Men by the JJ Suspenders Blog! What a huge surprise!

We do get stagnant from time to time, but we both recognize it and fucking hate it! Nothing makes us more angry at ourselves than a failure to try out some new ideas or locations. ~C

The shadowing is very sensual in this photo. Trying new things is always a little difficult but you two always come out stunning. Delightfully gorgeous as always Camille.

Actually, I love this photo–embrace your mistakes, remember! 😉 There is an ethereal quality to the image, the pose is magnifcent and strong, and you look stunning Camille. Plus it gave me immense pleasure when I saw it after finishing my current shoot at 2 am this morning 🙂 x

The pose is definitely my favorite part of the image! And I hope it was a treat for your bleary eyes. 😉 ~C

Personally, I don’t think you’ve made a mess of this photo. There’s a vivid and sensual intensity that sizzles here thanks to the lighting, the framing and C’s pose.

This is definitely my new favourite…

This is so very sweet of you, darling! I did my best to mimic the urgency of the professional model’s pose, and the angle from which H shot this gave an implication of power. I really do like it! ~C
