Where There’s Smoke

Happy Friday, everyone! We have an big noisy weekend ahead, since we bought a ridiculous amount of fireworks to take down to the lake house with us. We hope yours will be full of beautiful explosions, as well!

Closing out this particular session’s photo offerings with a couple more that feature Holden’s super-cool flashlight as the only light source. We took several of these, since we weren’t quite sure how they would turn out (the preview screen on the camera is less than helpful when creating dark photos in a dark room.) Nearly all of the images had something interesting about them, but these two were the best. In the top image, Holden and I couldn’t get over how much that little swirl of blue smoke is reminiscent of The Starry Night (one of his favorite paintings.) And the bottom one features a neon blue lens flare that would be the envy of J.J. Abrams himself!

Have a great weekend! Back with more on Monday. ~C

    Wow.

    What a smoking hot image.

Excellent use of the setting and light.

Have a great Fourth of July Holiday.

I adore these photos! That’s such a clever use of light and smoke–and a beautiful body piercing them of course! A real delight x

    Echoing other commenters…awesome imagery!

But that thigh gap in the first image though is smoking hot (no image pun intended).

Thank you! The thigh gap is easy to achieve, however, when one stands with her feet apart. 😉 ~C

The Starry Night has always been one of Hunter’s favorite paintings (a close second to Dogs Playing Poker), but this updated version is now my favorite. 😍

Ah, yes, Dogs Playing Poker. Holden has a soft spot for early period Coolidge works, as well! 😉 Thank you, dear Kerri! Hope you two are having a lovely holiday weekend! ~C
