Musical Stairs

As excited as we were about the way they complemented one another, Scarlett and I didn’t want to restrict this outfit pairing only to shots taken in the kitchen. Holden’s idea for the top photo, however, proved to be problematic. The stairs were narrower than we expected, in both length and width, and so squeezing into this position was a challenge. We did our best to appear relaxed and nonchalant, but a close look will reveal that both of us were desperately hanging on to keep our balance! Once he’d taken a few shots, and Scarlett and I had unfolded ourselves, we were eager to head up to the landing, which promised substantially more leg room for us. ~C

I initially tilted my head to the side for the top image, thinking it had been rotated when posted. Took me a second to realize you two were lying on your backs (gripping the stairs with your right hands for dear life) 🙂 Good job on making that shot work under the circumstances!

I’m glad you took a second look at that one! Holden shot several of these, from above us, and I’m pretty sure he was waiting for the inevitable moment when we would go tumbling over sideways. 🙂 ~C

Very happy that you enjoyed these! More legs to come on Sunday…but without the socks. 😉 ~C

Thank you so much, love! Just a few more posts remaining with Scarlett, but you know us — We’re already planning our next shoot, with a special prop in the post and on its way… 😉 Happy New Year to you, too! ~C

Definitely a white-knuckle experience! We were glad that Holden got the shot he wanted as quickly as he did. 😉 Hope you’ll enjoy the rest of the series, as it wraps up over the next few posts. ~C
