I had been trying to come up with a way to feature this pretty new skirt for a photo, during the lead-up to our most recent shoot, and we decided that Holden should be photographed in the process of discovering what I was (or wasn’t) wearing under it. Which, coincidentally, is what usually happens in real life when I wear it to work! He has already nearly caused us to be late for work twice with these early morning peek-a-boo shenanigans. Not that I’m complaining, of course. ~C

Love this one! It speaks volumes 🙂 xo
Thank you, Aiden! We were hoping this would capture one little moment in time. 🙂 ~C
I don’t blame Holden for the curiosity when you wear the pleats to work…they’re enticing by themselves! But if you combine them with those fishnets, too…I can see how being on time for work can quickly become secondary!
It’s definitely a combination that invites discovery! I don’t usually wear fishnets with the skirt, but (spoiler alert) we used the standard black stockings with a photo to come later… 😉 ~C
I can’t blame Holden for being a bit hands on. That lovely skirt and the fishnets on you are surely impossible to resist.
Thank you very much, Kerri! Even after all these years, I’m always happy to be the object of his arousal, any time! 😉 ~C
Excellent taste in your skirt and stockings. I would not blame Holden for his actions at all. Based on the glass in the background and it’s contents, Holden, is helping you relax after a long day.
My guess is your skirt is black in color???
Much appreciated, Marc! And yes, a tall glass of wine is always welcome at the end of a stressful day. The skirt is dark gray, actually, and we’re already thinking about how to present it again — We’ll post it in color next time. 🙂
beautiful photo
loving skirt and sweet legs
Thanks a bunch! Looking forward to warmer temperatures, when I can wear the skirts more often! ~C
A few years ago I bought my wife a book about Issey Miyake called “Pleats Please!” and know I understand why–it’s so English/Japanese schoolgirl-y 😉 Delicious photo and I look forward to it’s next appearance 🙂 x
Oh, we both agree about the schoolgirl feel of the skirt! We will need to think carefully about how to pair it with other clothes… 😉 ~C
now not know 😉
I am sure C’s boss would understand her tardiness. Nothing like some morning shenanigans to get the day started. Love the photo – it holds so many promises.
Thank you! Both of our immediate supervisors are remarkably accommodating, and they both know that we live very much like newlyweds. 😉
