Happy Friday, one and all! This evening’s photo is an outtake from 2017 and was shot on May 2nd of that year. May 2nd has just become my new favorite date on the calendar, because my first grandchild was born last Thursday morning! I’ll admit to being ambivalent about the idea of becoming a grandmother at first, but I definitely warmed up to the idea as the due date approached. And, just as Holden predicted, I fell madly in love as soon as I saw the first picture of the newborn! We are planning a visit to meet him soon, though I think the wait might just kill me. i have 3 daughters and lucky to live with 1 daughter and 2 grandchildren and live 6 blocks from another and 2 hours to last with 3 boys.
