These two outtakes kick off a trip through the small archive that’s dated February 25, 2017. Ideally, this archive would have been dated February 18, as Holden and I had several cool ideas for incorporating the Valentine’s Day roses he’d sent me, but our planned shoot had to be postponed for a week. In those seven days… Let’s just say that the blooms outlived their optimum photography date. As you might guess, most of the first-choice images were published in color, four years ago, so we’ll change the mood a bit and post the outtakes in black and white, when applicable. Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend! ~C
Roses are beautiful, but there’s a different beauty in these photos!
How very sweet of you, darling!

Gorgeous. Amazing that you guys have so many incredible images that in your archive that didn’t make the cut the first time around. Love the fishnets and rose.
Thanks, y’all! Back then, when we were the most prolific, it always seemed like the next photo shoot was just a few days away, so it was easy to cherry pick only the very best ones. It’s such a pleasure to go back and take another look at the unchosen ones.
