This past week, Holden gave me the sad news that the studio we visited three or four times for photo sessions had officially closed. Not that I was considering coming out of retirement to shoot there again, but at least the option had existed. I took a trip down memory lane to look through our first ever visit, and y’all, I couldn’t believe how few photos we posted in color from that day! So we’ll be jumping in the way WAYback machine for the next few weeks, to make sure that some of these delightful borrowed outfits and props are given their due.
In happy news, H has delivered his new book to an interior layout specialist — the cover is finished and ready to roll — so he’s not too far away from getting this one published. Let’s just say he’s a little bit excited. ~C
good memories to have in the way back back machine. Thanks for sharing
Thank you! We had to give the machine a tune-up before traveling that far! 😉 ~C
lol
Glad you two had the opportunity to visit the studio, take some photos to share with us. Love your pose behind the candles, and your outfit.
The top photo suggests that you have something in mind.
Sorry the studio closed and congratulations to Holden on the book.
Oh, I definitely had something in mind… though not enough time or opportunity to execute it! Happy to hear that you enjoyed these! 🙂 ~C
RIP to the studio. Its memory will always be preserved in the gorgeous photos you two have shared thus far. This outfit and the addition of color certainly agrees with your figure, Camille. This ranks up there next to your fishnet photos for me, and that’s saying something ;-).
Good job, Holden!
I’m glad you liked them! I can’t imagine how we managed to ignore color when posting the first-choice shots, but we’ll make up for it. 😉 ~C
I got really excited as I quickly scanned the narrative when I saw “coming out of retirement.” Alas, my joy was quickly dashed as I read it closer. I’m glad you have so many unseen photos to share from the archives😍
Oh, we have tons of them, for sure! I never cease to be amazed at how many of his “set-up shots” are good enough to publish. (I’m bored and looking down at my phone in some of them…) ~C
