Our apologies both for this evening’s brief comment, and for the clumsy attempt at a title to tie in with the holiday. (Though the bottom photo is certainly a type of job, right?) We took advantage of the long weekend to spend a couple of days away, and just got home a bit ago. These are from the same archive as our two most recent posts, and we’re both a little surprised at how many photos we’d shot that day. But I suppose I was prepared for a long session, since I’d curled my hair that morning! And I’m pretty proud of the set-up shot in the first image, before Holden finally left the tripod and joined me. Looking forward to another day off tomorrow! Hope y’all are making the most of your weekend. ~C

The sacrifices you guys make for your art. Respect!
It’s worth it just to read your replies! 😉 ~C
Thanks for the photos.
I would call it a Labor of Love.
Yes! That’s excellent! 🙂 ~C
Wow
Thanks, I think! 😉 ~C
You mention the 1st shot, but it’s the set-up of the 2nd shot that I really like! You look great and the composition, with your left arm blocking but not blocking the view is great!
Thank you! In retrospect, the tripod was probably a little too far away — we were hoping for some artsy lighting from the window — but I do love the angles we captured! 🙂 ~C
