This was the second-to-last photo we took with this idea in mind, back in April of ’18, and a careful analysis of the entire series of shots reminded me why. In the first few, my knees were together, which was making me feel a little wobbly with my eyes covered by my pajama shirt. (We took these before the beginning of cocktail hour, I promise.) Moving my legs apart helped with the balance, while H adjusted his position around the foot of the bed for different angles, but eventually I tipped too far backward. The final photo — a blurry image of me falling off to my right, with a look of panic on my face — will remain a treat reserved just for the two of us. ~C

OMG, we’d have SUCH a set of bloopers — Wardrobe malfunctions, odd shit in the backgrounds, uncooperative props… Just a circus of blunders! 😉 ~C
