Hold a Candle

I’m finally back home, y’all! Just within the past couple of hours, as a matter of fact. It was only two weeks, but it feels like months, and I am so looking forward to a quiet evening of Mexican takeout and cuddles with my fella. And wine. Lots of wine.

This will be the last of the October 2018 outtakes (well, kinda, but more on that next week.) It’s another idea we shot with Halloween in mind, and the original pair we posted in black and white were pretty unsettling. By way of explanation, I was standing in our foyer, in front of the storm door, using a lighter and candle to generate a reflection of my torso in the glass. This shot, however, threw a ton of light onto the porch — note the white railing and potted plants — which removes a bit of the mystery, especially in color. But I’m always keen to post flattering shots of my bare bottom whenever I find one, so this one made the cut. Happy weekend, everyone! ~C
