Sorry we’re late! We decided to take Friday off and head down to the lake house for a quick getaway. (When a family member offers to help you beat the heat by zipping around the water in his brand-new pleasure boat, you gotta take that opportunity!)
This evening’s outtake is another from the Halloween ’18 session, wherein Holden practiced his skills at simulating arterial spray against the shower wall before applying the syrupy fake blood to my torso. I’m glad he found me to be sufficiently horrifying quickly, as it was a wholly uncomfortable sensation. Or at least, not my favorite way to have warm liquid splattered onto my chest!

I think I’d rather have digit numbing cold over deadly heat. Maybe it’s not so bad here after all.
Maybe there’s a certain balance in being jealous of each other’s weather at equal times during the year? 🙂 ~C
