Our apologies for the abbreviated caption and the lack of additional info re: last week’s teaser. We’re having an amazingly busy weekend centered around sports, of all things. We are on our way out the door for a soccer match tonight, and then we’ll be spending all day tomorrow at a golf tournament, after lucking into a pair of VIP tickets. A bit more hectic than our usual weekend agenda, for sure.
We didn’t make it down to the lake house for a photo session in 2016 until the middle of September, due to an action-packed summer that found us on the west coast for our 10th anniversary in May, and then in Kentucky in August to drop off a certain college freshman at his dorm. Among the other photography settings, we decided to revisit an idea from 2013 and take out the kayaks. And this time, we found a more alluring cove in which to shoot. Sadly — and we wouldn’t have believed it if we hadn’t thoroughly checked the archive folders — this was also the final time we took our camera down to the lake with us for carefully planned naughtiness. ~C
