If I do say so myself, Holden and I killed it at the Airbnb last weekend! The shoot was truly the perfect mix of advanced planning and adapting on the fly to the unique features of the place, and our preliminary examination of the results suggests that we’ll have upward of 16 sets of images that are worthy of publication. (For the sake of comparison, our session with Rena yielded 12). But I think we’re most proud that these shots are all so different from each other — from artsy-fartsy to silly to sexy (we hope) — taking advantage of nearly everything the space had to offer.
We wanted to kick off the series with these two shots, simply because it’s the only outfit I wore that will be repeated later (in a different setting, in black and white.) And also because it’s a nice preview of blonde wig #2, which is really more strawberry with blonde streaks in it. I apologize for these not being in perfect focus — I really wanted to take advantage of the large mirror beside the hanging nest chair, but every single muscle twitch set the damn thing to rocking or swinging!
