At long last, we have reached the end of the Airbnb photo series! We did our best to limit any background views of the gaming area, just so we could keep these under wraps until it was time to highlight them, but it wasn’t easy — In addition to air hockey, there was also a foosball table and this retro Atari console. (Anyone remember Tempest? Apparently it’s still my jam, and I left the High Scores list completely full of big numbers, with CAM as the author of them.) Holden was determined to find just the right Polaroid-style filter for these, to accentuate the vintage feel, and we’re both tickled with the results.
In other news, Augusta National was everything we hoped it would be, and more! We took a lot of photos, and we arrived a little late to the par three contest (I had a long list of people who wanted souvenirs), but we had a choice vantage point for at least one ace. My only regret is not winning the ticket lottery sooner because, man, that was a lot of walking for our old legs! ~C
Wow,
An Airbnb that has retro games that work!
Super cool photos.
Glad you enjoyed Augusta and the National!
Well, the dial controller on the Atari game was a little sticky, or else I would’ve posted even HIGHER scores. 😉 Thank you! ~C
With what you were wearing you would have had me at a disadvantage in an air hockey or foosball game!
Aha! That’s my master plan! 😉 ~C
