Hi, guys! Hope those of you in the States had a happy and safe celebration for the Fourth! We forgot to mention the holiday last week because… it’s really July already? This week’s top photo is another one inspired by a professional shot that Holden found, though the model in that one had a coffee cup as her co-star. I bet I’ve posed with two dozen different cups over the years, so I grabbed my new favorite potted plant for a tabletop companion, instead. And it gave me the added bonus of creating a provocative post title.
On the major (and expensive!) renovation front, we are now in the queue for two different companies to come out and remodel both our master bath and our kitchen. Both jobs involve the building of custom cabinetry, so we’re weeks/months from the actual start of any work. But we’ve been busy with upgrades we can handle ourselves, too, including the installation of new blinds on all seven of our upstairs bedroom windows. It may not sound like much, but it’s made a big difference to us. Next up is selecting new light fixtures and painting some rooms and hallways that we’ve previously ignored. ~C
I’m sure the renos will look beautiful when complete. Just like the photos🔥🔥
We certainly hope so, ’cause we’re both tickled with how these came out! 😉 ~C
Belated Happy Fourth of July to y’all.
Super photos and thanks Holden for the concept and execution of the camera shutter.
Good luck with the reno and changes.
It would be super to see the before and after shots.
Thank you very much! I’m sure Holden is already thinking about how to pose me in the remodeled areas to show them off! 😉 ~C
