Happy weekend, y’all! On last Saturday’s post, a kind and loyal reader expressed a hope for before-and-after shots of our upcoming home renovations. We’ll be tickled to show off the new kitchen, and we have shared dozens of photos located in the current one, for reference and comparison. The master bath is a different story. It never lent itself well for photos, mostly due to its confined space, ugly wallpaper, and a complete lack of any eye-catching features that would enable it to work as an interesting setting. In our archive, there are a couple of close-ups of me in the shower, or standing in front of closed doors, but not much else.
These two shots are at least tangentially related to the master bath, however, as it provided the light source for the images. For the room’s final act of rebellion against the very nature of art, though, the light was far too bright to allow for the atmospheric look that Holden envisioned for long-range crops. So we changed tack and came up with these, instead. Not quite what we were looking for, but hopefully still pleasing to the eye! ~C

Both photos look great and I will speak for myself, my eyes focus on you and or Holden and no so much the wallpaper, or if the TP roll is empty.
