Neighbor Hoodie

Good evening, everyone! It didn’t occur to me when we were in the midst of shooting these, but did during the editing process, that I am running short of time to (accidentally?) scandalize any current neighbors who might catch us venturing outdoors for some quick shots. I mean, sure, the porch landing here is surrounded by trees, and we do tend to work fast. But at the same time, those outdoor lights are awfully bright, and I’d never notice if there was a head looking out from a nearby window or door. So, maybe? Who knows? Anyway, I just wanted to pose in this little sweater I found on clearance at the Texas boot store…

For those of you kind enough to request and enjoy our updates, we had a guy out to the house Thursday afternoon to do his official laser measuring of the cabinet and countertop specs. So on Monday, that contract will be finalized and the down-payment paid. It’ll probably be September before the work actually starts, but we also ordered our new appliances during the Fourth of July sales, so we’ll be sitting on ready when the workers get here. Not sure if I mentioned it before, but we’re looking forward to hosting one last big family Christmas gathering this year, which will be much more fun with new and modern equipment. ~C

My guess is your neighbors are wondering what is going on with the interior of your home. This undoubtedly has fueled the rumor mill.

Perhaps, they are thinking you stepped out for a few minutes of quiet time and to contemplate the whole process.

If someone saw you on the porch landing it would spread like wildfire!

    Super cool photos!

I think you’re onto something here! 🙂 We did mention to our next door neighbor about the upcoming sale. He said he’d be sad to see us go, but was excited to tell his brother about a nearby available property… ~C
