Happy weekend, one and all, with a much-needed extended break for those of us in the States! We hope you’re all having a safe and happy time, and looking forward to a change in the season. Our local forecast suggests that the first week of September will be bringing us a welcome relief from the heat.
But on the subject of heat, I do love a photo that shows both of our wedding rings, and especially when our hands are doing something… interesting! This was the next-to-last scenario we shot during the August 18 session, and obviously we left the most enjoyable ones for last. I mean, I always enjoy it when Holden joins me in front of the camera, but he really took his time with these. It was all I could do to keep still, as you can imagine, between his fingers and his mouth and his hair tickling the bejeezus out of me!
And big news on the home improvement front! We finally had the arrival of a couple of burly young men with serious skills, who pretty much completely gutted our little master bathroom and remade it into something thoroughly modern. We still have a few cosmetic touches to add, and it was far more expensive than it should have been, but man, what a huge difference! ~C

Yes, that seems to be the case. Though we feel like our kitchen remodel is fairly priced, at least in comparison! 😉 ~C
