Hi, guys and dolls! At the time the post goes live, Holden and I will be making our way downtown to watch a sports. It’s a work event for me, as I’ve tried over the past few autumns to help incoming students acclimate themselves to the area by scheduling group outings for them at the beginning of the school year. Fortunately, the local soccer team has cooperated by winning the last three times we bought group tickets, so word has gotten around and the seats are in demand. And best of all, it gives me a chance to have an evening out with my favorite fella.

A knight out to a hockey game could be a fun activity also.
Hockey is definitely on our agenda this fall/winter! But it’ll just be an outing for the two of us. 🙂 ~C

Right? It’s funny: I picked those chess pieces because they didn’t have any chips or scratches on them, so they’d look better in the shot (we were only going to use a corner of the board.) Holden took a look at the arrangement and said, “That’d be one fucked-up match, if they ended up like that.” 🙂 ~C
