Greetings from construction central! As promised in the first post of photos from the August 18 shoot, we are pleased to present a couple more photos from the back porch. We didn’t intend to be quite so jarring, thematically, by following up last week’s pictures featuring firewood with this week’s return to bikini season, but that actually turns out to be a good reflection of our local weather pattern. We really shouldn’t have to turn on the heat for two or three frosty nights, only to click back over to the air conditioner for the steamy afternoons arriving next week…
As for the kitchen, Thursday and Friday resulted in the demolition and removal of all the cabinets, the sink, and the appliances (save for the refrigerator), and the installation of the new bottom cabinets. In what should have been a surprise to no one, however, the removal of the soffits revealed some wiring, duct work, and plumbing that will need to be dealt with before the upper cabinets can come in. I think I’m most excited for next Tuesday’s introduction of the new countertop, myself. But we are both loving the progress that’s been made so far! ~C
My first thought was” wow!!” Second thought was “wow!!”… sexy sexy… the leaves are falling I see…new countertops are wonderful
Glad you enjoyed the pics! 🙂 Holden read my line about the countertop and said, “What? It’s the new appliances!” So, obviously he does more cooking than I do… ~C
Your lovely photos are always sexy, beautiful and stylish … no matter the location. And I have been loving these sexy journies around your house.
And those bikini bottoms suit you just perfectly.
Hope your alterations continue to progress at pace … and looking forward to seeing many more of your guided tours in the meantime.

Thank you, darling, as always! We are hopeful — HOPEFUL — that the kitchen remodel will be completed this week, as scheduled. And we are quite excited about showing off the upgrades…Though we’ll do our best to shoot new photos in places other than the kitchen and master bath. 😉 ~C
Once again super photos. Both are sexy and sensual as well.
The color contrast really is eye opening and very vibrant.
Hope all goes well with the kitchen remodel.
I convinced Holden to try a 10% color enhancement on an edit, and the bikini bottom was the only element of the photos that popped! 🙂 The only thing we’d do differently with the remodel is doing it in about 2012 instead of now… ~C
