From June, 2015 — Holden had been busily searching for photo ideas that could include both of us, and added one to our shot list that we did a pretty fine job of duplicating, if I do say so myself. We were also eager to shoot in what was then a newly updated living room, wherein we’d painted the plain white walls a warm and inviting sage green, and replaced the faded old-lady curtains with custom white blinds. This was one of his set-up shots, making sure the angle and lighting were just right before stepping in front of the tripod to assume his appropriate position for the photo. Since I was confident the image would never be posted, I didn’t bother to turn away from the camera. So please be kind.
Here in 2025, all of the furniture in this living room has either been sold or given away, save a few bookcases that we’re taking with us, so it has become our primary staging area for the boxes the movers will be loading next week. Organized chaos, as the saying goes, and to be sorted out over time in our new location. It won’t be long now! Wish us luck as we barrel toward the finish line! ~C

The photo and pose are very pretty.
The model too. 🤩
Good luck !
Merci! So much to do, but the reward is the focus! 🙂 ~C
Best of luck on the move!!
Thank you! Wishing we had a few more weeks, but it is what it is… 😉 ~C
It’s gorgeous … in style and in your natural beauty.
So so lovely.

And yes best of luck with your move. I know from our own moving home experience (after 28 years in the same London house) how stressful and exhausting it can be.
How sweet of you! We’re trying to keep our focus on the benefits of the new place… but the realities of the move are so overwhelming! 🙂 ~C
Super location and you look great.
Hope your move goes well and uneventful.
Thank you for the kind words! We’re keeping our fingers crossed! 🙂 ~C
