I’ve mentioned previously that we got rid of a bunch of furniture before the move, opting instead to buy some things that would fit better in the new place. (This will also be a recurring theme in the photos to come.) For example, there was no way in Zeus’ butthole that we would’ve been able to fit our old six-piece bedroom set in this house, where our master bedroom is about half the size. So tonight’s photos were taken to show you one of the items in the new bedroom set. We even splurged on some new wall art! In fact, we kinda cheated a little — We got such a good deal on this bedroom set that we bought another identical bed and nightstands for the guest room here. Is that cheating? It feels like cheating.
I’m proud of the fact that Holden and I have been actively researching some outside-the-house activities we can enjoy here, aside from family time. And toward that end, I took my very first yoga class yesterday! If nothing else, I hope it’ll be a help for my rickety knees. Holden, meanwhile, is learning to play pickleball. He was great at tennis in his youth, so I’m pretty sure he’ll excel at this, too. Happy summer solstice, one and all! ~C

I use to think yoga was a joke until I tried it. I suffered doing those power poses.
These photos are so seductive 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you! I’m learning quickly about yoga, and I’m definitely achy in all the right places! 🙂 ~C
Sounds like you are both getting settled in new home.
Yoga takes stamina and the ability to focus and can result in some muscle soreness.
Hope you both enjoy your out of the house activities.
Thanks so much! We’re well settled into our new house, and now that we’ve gotten rid of (nearly) all the boxes, we can turn our attention to settling into our new community, as well. 🙂 ~C
