Happy weekend, one and all! As we mentioned last time, this is the final pairing of images from our first photo experiments in the new house. But at the same time this one goes live, we’ll be gathering props and outfits for a new session after dinner tonight. (Holden has a couple of shots in mind that will work way better in the dark.) The idea for these was inspired by a professional photographer that we follow on Tumblr, who definitely has an eye for capturing legs and feet, and enjoys posing his models standing on things. He also prefers posting in black and white, so we figured we’d do one of each, as the pink fishnets were purchased before our shoot with Diana but didn’t make it out of their pouch.
I have a darkly amusing story regarding our efforts to find fun things to do outside the house, here in our new town: I told y’all last month that Holden was taking a pickleball lesson, and boy did he take to the game quickly! He’s been playing twice a week at a local tennis center, and loves the friendly competition. Last Wednesday, however, he had to quit early because he strained his left calf pretty badly while backpedaling for a shot. He gave it several days to recover before feeling ready to play again this past Monday, and damn if the old fart didn’t strain his RIGHT one this time. So now he’s sitting on the sofa sulking, with compression sleeves on both of his legs. Take care out there, fellow old people! ~C

Hopefully Holden has returned feeling better and has returned to the court.
Personally, I prefer the color photo due to the color of the hose and the contrast of the bear.
Oh, I agree about the color! All the pink just pops, I think. Holden actually went back out to play on Monday (with his calf sleeves on) and didn’t get injured! 🙂 ~C
