There was only one setting from our first session in the new house that we decided to scrub and re-shoot later, and it was an idea involving these awesome new heels with bows on the back. Holden came up with a better plan for them, and these were the result. I didn’t envy him, sprawled out on his belly on the floor, while I sat comfortably in a dining chair, but he was 100% correct about it being the best way to capture them. They aren’t the most practical shoes I’ve ever owned, but they might just be the most dramatic, and I do feel super sexy wearing them.
We haven’t mentioned the old house very much lately and, as you can probably guess, it’s because there wasn’t much to report. HOWEVER, I am delighted to say that we are now under contract! After two pretty significant price reductions, we finally got a market-appropriate offer while I was away last week. And then, because fate certainly likes to fuck with us, we got an even better offer two days later. We accepted that one, too, as a backup in case anything happens to cause the first one to fall through. So hopefully we’re only a few short weeks away from wrapping up that chapter. ~C

Oh, yes, we’ve been paying two mortgages, as well as keeping the utilities on at the old place! Seeing it sold will be like getting a nice raise! 😉 ~C
