Happy Labor Day weekend, to those of you in the States! (Our Canadian friends are welcome to add a “u” for yours.) Footballs, if not leaves, are in the air, and we are finally getting some relief from the heat. Holden has been facetiously answering the “Why did y’all move?” question from new Texas acquaintances by saying that Georgia just wasn’t hot enough for us anymore. But at least the overnight hours are getting cooler, and we’ll take any change in that direction we can get.
These photos are the “other idea Holden had in mind” for the long dining table, where he put the camera on the surface on one end and shot me on the opposite. They’re cropped, obviously, since there’s only so much naked wood that we wanted to include. (That’s what she said?) Over my shoulder is the back door, and the kitchen is immediately behind me — We’ve only shown one angle of it so far, so this might give a better perspective of the overall layout. ~C

I can’t imagine the heat you have. Anything over 30 is unbearable up here. Happy Labour Day!!
Thank you! I fear that y’all would definitely melt down here, in the summertime… 😉 ~C
Yes, it’s been a little warm outside. Looking forward to a change in the seasons and cooler weather.
Hopefully y’all are adjusting to the climate and temperatures.
Love the use of the table and background.
The stocking ads an extra kick to the photos as well and the open shirt is more than eye catching.
Thanks very much! I tried to get a little more creative with the outfit, since I knew H would want to post these in color. 🙂 But the heat here is marching on, and on, and on… ~C
