Good evening, folks! We are now entering the “wait until after sunset” selection of photos from the most recent session, wherein we tried to get creative with our light sources. I was particularly proud of myself for remembering to grab a necklace for these and, not only that, to find one that hasn’t already been worn for dozens of shots before. I’m a little surprised this set of tea candle holders made the cut, when it came time to pare down home decor items for the move. Though I suppose it carries some sentimental value, given that it contributed to one of the best prop placements we’ve ever achieved. (That post is from TWELVE years ago? Sheesh.)
Looking back at the last few captions, I notice I have failed to mention the fact that Holden and I will soon be making a joint trip back to Georgia for a few days. He has a class reunion coming up, and several of his classmates that are friends on mine on Facebook straight up demanded that I talk him into attending. It’ll be his first visit back since the move, and I know he’s looking forward to spending some time with his family while we’re there. And I’m looking forward to having a few days back in town and NOT spending any time in the office on campus! Something for everyone, really. Will keep y’all posted, as per usual. ~C

Nice photos of you and the candles.
I appreciate you selecting a necklace but my eyes are not focused on the necklace.
Hope you and Holden have a great trip to Atlanta and catch up with your family and friends.
Perhaps time for a Pub Sub or a trip to the Varsity?
Thank you! We are keeping an open agenda for the trip back, outside of the reunion, but those are both excellent ideas! 🙂 ~C
