Socks Appeal

Some years ago, we had a request from a reader asking me to pose in little white athletic socks. I did my best to indulge the idea a couple of times, given how wholesome it seemed when compared to the more crude and explicit suggestions I’ve received. I recently bought some new ones, since Holden and I are making a real effort to exercise and be more physically active after the move, and I thought this photo idea would be a good time to wear them. The fact that I ran out of time to do a pedicure before the session had nothing to do with it, you see.

Our trip back to Georgia was both fun and productive. We were able to attend the closing of the old house in person, saving us hundreds of dollars in remote notary fees, and that chapter is FINALLY closed for us. The following night, we attended Holden’s 40th high school class reunion, which was a hoot! And we got to visit with lots of his relatives, too. We’re hoping it won’t be too long before some of them make a trip out west to see us here, as well. Happy weekend, y’all! ~C
