Okay, I know a few of you are not going to be big fans of this silly little ghost hood, so I’ll kindly invite you to ignore this post and the next two that follow. Because I think it’s adorable, and I couldn’t wait to buy one and let Holden come up with some clever ways to use it. And I was excited, too, about the idea of going out into the backyard for the first time for some pictures. (It wasn’t even 90 degrees outside!) In case you’re wondering, the house next door to us is unoccupied. But I can only hope that the house across the street that visible in the bottom photo didn’t have any peepers in those upstairs windows. Memorial Day, July Fourth, and Labor Day were all pretty quiet here, and we’ll be interested to see if the cooler-weather holidays, starting with Halloween, are maybe a bit more rowdy. ~C

The fence reminds me of Mr. Wilson from ‘Tool Time’ where Mr. Wilson was always peering over the top of the fence.
