Well, folks, that was a LONG trip, in terms of both time and distance. But it was productive, I have to admit. We got some work done, accomplished one major chore, and we were able to visit with lots of family and friends. Holden even got the chance to go by his workplace, just to say hello to some of his old office pals. They said he looked happy and relaxed, and our visit to the big city vividly reminded us of one reason why we’re less stressed: Not having to deal with daily traffic delays. We don’t miss it — *cue Heath Ledger’s Joker voice* — not… one… bit.
We aren’t sure if it’s the lighting or the neutral decor scheme at the new house, but we’ve noticed in our handful of photo sessions thus far that the color red REALLY pops. I think I’ve cycled through most of my red lingerie and accessories, over the last few shoots, but I’ll certainly be looking to see if I missed anything. The next time we take pictures will be after we’ve decorated for Christmas, however, so that should give us several more opportunities. Take care, everyone, and please be safe if you’re traveling for Thanksgiving! Have a happy holiday! ~C
