When we were preparing our stuff in Georgia for the big move, we bought some of those expensive packing boxes for our kitchen glassware. In spite of this, however, several items arrived shattered. You can imagine how nervous I was, when we began our Christmas decorating last weekend, wondering if the next box I opened would be the one that was full of broken glass.
Well, I’m pleased to report that there was very little damage, and that these two handsome snowmen — recent favorites that I received from my mother — arrived intact, with their little LED interior lights in perfect working order. They just needed a little dusting and polishing hygiene, and they were ready to take their featured spot in the new house.
We had a great time taking a few holiday-themed photos! We only shot enough for three posts, however, so we’ll follow this one up with something… unusual, then close with something more classic and traditional. Stay tuned! ~C
