Happy weekend, one and all! Once I got myself all dolled-up for these shots, I gave Holden the chance to test out the lighting while doing a bit of mood-setting. I do love candlelight, even when by itself it’s insufficient for photography. He didn’t tell me much about his overall plan for shooting us in the guest room, so I followed his lead from one scenario to the next. The result of this was a delightfully pleasurable evening for us both, though we’re still a little iffy on the shots themselves.
I mean, we are super excited about the next photos we’ll be posting from here, but if we end up publishing a third set, we’ll have to do some creative cropping and editing. It’s been a while since it happened, but once again we got caught up in each other and sometimes forgot the camera was on and that a remote control was handy. This lead to images that either didn’t convey enough or, more often, showed a little too much! But alas, it’s all about the process… and the process was fun! ~C
