An early experiment with shadows and light. — photo date 08.14.2012 —  

Taken on July 3rd, 2012, during our Independence Day holiday. It was entirely too hot, as we recall, to go outside and pose with real flowers. And it would be another year before we thought to travel down to the lake house for some secluded outdoor photography.
