Another photo taken on March 16, 2012. If you are willing to look beyond Camille, just for a moment, you will see our dogwood tree, which blossoms at this time of year and fills the full width of our kitchen windows with the most vibrant white. In only a matter of weeks, however, the blossoms fade to a faint pink and fall to the ground in the face of any sustained wind or storm. Only Camille’s beauty, it seems, can out-live the seasons. ~H
