The original post of this image was titled After the Fall, though that’s not quite the way it happened. Chronologically, this was taken immediately before we moved up to the cabin’s loft to take last night’s photo. In her haste to get back downstairs again, Camille neglected to anticipate how slippery the polished wooded stairs would be, in those warm thigh-high socks. Her feet slipped out from under her, and she butt-bounced all the way down the full length of the staircase. Holden was in another room, but assumed from the sound of the tumble that we’d be trading photography for a hospital trip. Camille laughed it off, however. More accurately, she laughed it off after a glass of bourbon and a soak in the hot tub to ease her aches, but that’s tomorrow night’s photo…

I prefer both of these (last night and tonight’s) in color. It gives them something extra. Though either way, black and white or color Camille looks lovely!
