By nature, we are frugal homebodies (which sounds so much better than cheap recluses), and not prone to being extravagant. Last weekend, however, we indulged. The occasion was Holden’s high school reunion and, although it was held within driving distance for us, we sprang for a hotel room and some new clothes, and made a weekend out of it. This is the first of seven or eight posts we will have from the hotel: Perched on a cute little ottoman and perusing the room-service menu. Also out of character for us, this photo is completely unfiltered. ~C
